Our hot tub defoamer is a fast and effective solution for eliminating and preventing suds and foam. This non-oil-based, fast-acting silicone emulsion breaks up water surface tension to stop foam from forming. Body lotions, soaps, and shampoos are common causes of foaming, so minimizing their introduction to the water can help. If foaming persists, it may be due to low calcium hardness, which our defoamer will not correct.
